Her mother is her mananger and always with her and this is probably not the first time he sees her performing/acting like this so how is this a big deal?
And just because you wouldn't do that or you don't like what Miley's doing doesn't mean her parents can't be proud of her. She's coming from a musician family, they grew up with fame, it's not like they're all shocked and upset.
