Only if they're not religious freaks, but I'd rather not. I'm sure things would get pretty hard for both and their parents would look down on me for having different beliefs etc. I'm an atheist by the way, and so are my parents.

Personally, I'm not religious at ALL, and I hate to think that I could be missing out on many great people, but I'm not sure I could see myself working out long-term with someone who is very religious. With my own family I feel extremely awkward praying before dinner or going to church, considering I don't believe in any of the same things (though they don't know that, I know it would break my poor grandmother's heart )

Nah, I wouldn't take them seriously when they'd go to church.

I can only date people who are spiritual & feel at one with the earth and nature and all the trees.

Before you marry someone, you date them, hopefully for a long substantial period of time to figure out if their religious beliefs clash with your beliefs.

As for dating someone with strong religious beliefs, I would be wary at first. And on first dates or when getting to know someone on a personal level, you always go through a variety of topics don't you? At least I do or have. Religion is one of them. It's part of figuring out not only their beliefs but if you can have an intellectual, thought provoking conversation with them. Am I making sense? lol

In my home country, the religious people (the Muslims) though. They will try their asses off to CONVERT people they want to ****. Not cute. I think the same thing also happens in other religions but not as rampant as Islam since it indoctrinates its followers

I'm not extremely religious, but I do believe in God. I'm open to anyone if they're the right person, but things would get tricky when it comes time to raise kids. That's my only concern.

If the person is a "good" human being in my standards then I don't care what religion they are. We all have different beliefs (I'm personally not religious) and we must come to term with out differences. That is what makes us human beings

Not someone of the Abrahamic religions. I'm an atheist, so it would be awkward dating someone who thought that I was going to burn in hell for not believing . I'd be open to dating someone who followed something like Buddhism or Taoism though.

I have no problem with it, as long as they realized I don't share them and won't ever. I'd "convert" to whatever they are (in name only) and let them raise any kids with that religion if they wished.

I'm a pretty outspoken antitheist, so it would probably be a little awkward if they identified as religious. I can bite my tongue with people all up the spectrum until they reach that "holier than thou, won't shut up about church" kind So yeah, if the guy is religious to the degree that is common where I live (vaguely so, usually moderate and has a loose interpretation of their religious texts) like my family members and some friends, we can absolutely date/marry/whatever.

Raising kids would be tricky however, as I detest people who indoctrinate their kids with their religious beliefs. It can be presented as an option as long as they are educated on all the arguments for/against, but to simply force them into houses of worship and reading whichever religious text "x" amount of times a week? That could be a deal breaker.

I'm not religious at all, and my POV would differ way too much from someone who is religious (I'm not talking "my family is Jewish so I celebrate hanukkah", I'm talking "I read the bible, I pray every night, and I always attend church"), so I wouldn't.
