What's more important? What's more impressive? Sales or chart-peaks? Would you prefer your fave to have a #1 song that just goes plat, or a song that never even goes top 20 but sells over 3 million.

I hate how y'all have unrealistic judgements that any popular song had a radio deal. It rarely happens. No labels are gonna spend money to pay radios for EVERY single they release, that would drain their pockets.

Happens often actually. Some songs are front-loaded for example and peak high but die off quickly, and some songs sell consistently but just never peak high and they end up with really high sales.
