It really depends on how much of corny fairy tale stories you can handle. I went to see this with one of my friends who absolutely hates romance and fairy tales but even she enjoyed this film. She would just burst out laughing or have a very "What the heck?!" face at various points of this film, so it was not as great as it could have been. Then again, she thought Hairspray was okay...
Buddyalc, I think it teaches kids that dreams can still come true even if you look at reality? I mean, it tries to mix fairy tale with reality. That might be why another friend and I were disappointed at how one of the characters developed throughout the movie, seeing we sort of wanted it to be more like real girls and guys but keeping the thought process still fairy world?
Still, I really enjoyed this film, haha.
but National Treasure 2, that I am definatly going to see
