Yes. Some of the rules should be relaxed a bit on here. Basically anything you say on here can be construed some kind of way to be seen as shady and you could get a WP. And some harmless things are warned. Like adding La to the beginning so some words.

Answer to question at the end of OP: Probably? However there are instances where a comment could be interpreted in two ways or even more, in which case no WP should be given imo. The moderator in your case there maybe just didn't think of the other way you could have meant it when he/she handed out the WP.

Go address it in HQ if it bothers you. Maybe it can be reversed.
