she hasn't had a label this whole time?

This seems fishy to me.

There were rumours ITV wanted to keep her but Simon wanted someone else on the panel, this to me looks like Simon is publicly shutting the door on her face, making it so she can't come back and now has to walk away.

Its to weird that only yesterday her own team were saying she hasn't left and is in talks with producers and gave a spiel about how much she loves the show and the UK, it wouldn't surprise me if she was in talks with the producers still, but Simon has done this so he gets his way.

Also normally when someone leaves they announce it themselves, not Simon.

it's probably Cheryl. Weren't there all those rumors that she hated Nicole because she thought she stole her job on US X Factor?

She signed onto a new label recently. She was on Polydor in the UK.

That part about loving the show and the UK has been regurgitated every report for months. They've been saying she's considering leaving since last year so it's not really shocking. She said she wanted to focus on music in 2014 in an interview from November:

If she really wanted to leave though I don't think her team would be saying she is still in talks with the producers yesterday and I definitely think they would have announced her departure first, not Simon on twitter.

Yeah, though those rumours were pretty much confirmed.

Remember the biography about Simon that Tom Bower's wrote a few years ago and Simon gave the man unlimited access and they spent weeks together, well he was present throughout the X Factor auditions and wrote about what happened, he said Cheryl was withdrawn and quiet, but also said Nicole, during a break in auditions, took Simon behind some curtains and pitched for the job, so Cheryl wasn't wrong there.

I just wish they would have made up and worked together, I am fans of both and really wanted to see them on a panel together.
