for "beautiful" I've always admired Elizabeth. It has a classical feel to it that isn't terribly outdated.
"Emily" is my fave girls name.
Not sure about guys, I like "Matt" a lot though, even if it's common.

Ariana is a province of ancient Persia, other similar names: Margiana, Bactriana, Sogdiana, Drangiana, Oxiana, etc. I love them all
