You actually reported this? What even... I'm not breaking any rules, I'm sparking a discussion. If whoever reported this can't seriously take an opinion other than their own... 
Well? Do you think
ARTPOP was or do you have another suggestion? Basically I want to see the ATRL opinion on the worst major album from this decade, whether it be
ARTPOP or a completely different album.
And so I don't get reported or anything (even though I still probably will
) here are the reasons for why I think so:
1. The try-hard promotion, from the nude video to the radio payola the promotion just seemed too much like she was reaching for attention.
2. The basic singles, Do What U Want is one of my bops, but its one of the most basic mid-tempo synthpop songs I've ever heard. As for "Applause," the lyrics I find unrelatable and the synth chords are extremely basic, plus the synth itself is basic.
3. The album sounds overall rushed and muddy. Songs like "Aura" and "MANiCURE" could be great tracks, if they weren't so overproduced and muddy in production. Key word: MUDDY. It sounds like nothing was even EQ's in some cases!
4. "Gypsy." No matter how much I personally love "Gypsy," it is one of the most tryhard and basic songs I've ever heard. It follows so many generic pop trends in its melodies, chords, and structure that it becomes absolutely ridiculous. Only non-generic part is the lyrics, and those
Not to mention the fact that the bridge I still believe is ripped off from Labrinth's "Last Time"
5. "Jewels & Drugs."
Rent-a-rappers, unoriginal lyrics, unimpressive flows, especially by TI's past where he's had some great flows.
So that's a slice of my opinion on ARTPOP, what is your opinion on what you think the worst album is?
