Well, due to the recent cancelation of my previous thread, resulting in the attainment of 2 WP, and the floppation of its predecessor, I have risen once again (being the fighter I am ) to begin a well thought, mess free , and most of all classy discussion.

Yeah, I was emotionally and physically abused by my father.

Not beaten, but I was popped on my hands or thighs. That's pretty much it, though. I wasn't beaten. Yelled @? Oh, hell yea.

My parent's are Pakistani and very old-fashioned, so yes.

I still occasionally get hit by my mother.

Literally never been spanked or hit in my entire life. Never been grounded either. I had almost no discipline growing up yet somehow I managed to be a well behaved child anyway

Not like abused but if I did something wrong I got pulled by the ear/hair, hit on the head/back, got stuff thrown at me. But nothing serious, just the normal Hispanic upbringing

I was not. I was only spanked, though I take issue with that as well. I feel terrible for anyone who was beaten in childhood - it's completely wrong to physically abuse anyone, especially a child.
