Glad to hear that it isn't over the top, I love action packed shows but not when they go over the top, and pay no attention to characters and their development.

I didn't see Vikings but I saw him acting and I think he has potentional as an actor. I'm sure they gave him job because he was what they were looking for, If not that's shows fault, not his.

I was just joking, I see him in opposite to Björn who is as strong as his father, so he can't compete but as far as I know when he plays Halfdan Ragnarsson we was also famous for his cruelty.
actually I agree. They should be at least at little bit historically accurate with actors.
