Wow, Rihanna and Timbaland's album need to get the platinum status at least. Looking at how big Umbrella, and Timbo's 3 singles-in-a-row, the album sales arent very impressive

That because the are single artists....
which albums are not so relevant in US and sells quite good(though not so) WW
timbaland is a producer, the only producer that actually managed to really crossover as a big selling artist too, is Dr. Dre!...."2001" sold 10 million copies WW, with more than 6 million in the US....and his singles werenīt nearly as successful as Timbalands
ciara deserves it!....it was >1.2-1.3 millions, but either way, outselling most biznatches with only 3 singles and just one of them semi-hit, thatīs quality to me...and "evolution" is!
Ne-Yo needs to do better. Chamillionaire's cd is excellent he should seriously have more fans his raps are good. More people should pay attention to his music

^she debuted really big, about 355k i remember....the hits that she had with goodies werenīt there, but she grew artistically, and the album was such a coool thing to do despite itīs being just her 2nd album and sheīs 21 y.o. .....she kinda took a risk and pulled it off!
