Even on their way out of the game, the members of The Wanted aren’t prepared to let their, uhh, feelings about One Direction go unsaid. In an interview with The Sun, Max George opens up on the demise of TW, claiming, “One Direction [is] a phenomenon that no one else can compete with. They’ve taken over the market. We have our own fans, who we love, but we couldn’t stop things from happening.”
This comes just days after the announcement that the Word of Mouth tour will be the boy band’s last one ever for an indefinite amount of time “as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavors following the tour’s conclusion..
Well, they were a bunch of mid-20 year olds making music for 13 year old girls so of course they weren't gonna last. It might've worked back in the day like with NSYNC and BBBoys. Their sound was just too immature and awkward for their look.
