I once tried to correct my AP Language teacher for saying you can't end a sentence with a preposition when in reality it's perfectly okay under most circumstances but she wouldn't hear it.

I have. And there were times I could have but I didn't because I thought the bitch would take it out on me.

Also, there was a time when our retarded-ass German teacher gave us some essays to write, but no one listens her in class, so we don't know **** in German and I asked a German friend to write it for me. He did and she gave it a "D". And it wasn't some kind of 500 words essay, it was only 1 page. I was absolutely certain that my German friend wrote it properly, but I didn't bother making a scene.

In grade 8 we were reading a short story, and there was a line that had the word "dessert" in it. My friend started laughing and I asked why, and she said it's because the story said he ate some desert. I, feeling extremely gullible that day, proceeded to ask the teacher, without actually looking at the word, why it said he wanted to eat the desert. Then my teacher explained to me, in front of the whole class, the grammatical difference between desert and dessert. He was all like "dessert has two s's, you can remember this because you ask for seconds with your dessert!" as if I was in grade 2.

Needless to say, I was embarrassed and pissed at my friend.

Yes one of my teachers was a drunk so when she would talk the students would correct her. That would be our lesson for the day. We also learned about Miranda rights when she was arrested in front of the class for selling drugs to one of the students. Temporary lay offs good times.
