While there's a thread to discuss what smartphone do you have, people can have the same phone but different OS versions. This thread is for Android users, what version do you have? You can also say which device (smartphone/tablet) and if it's an official version or a custom ROM. I have official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on a Samsung Galaxy S II Plus, planning to install a custom ROM when my version becomes too old.
4.3 with my Galaxy Note 2. I'm not sure I'm gonna buy another Android because they're so inconsistent with the updates. They, understandably, give priority to the newer phones then hope people don't recognize they're shirking off they older phones, even the flagship phones. It's annoying because it allows people to make false promises to sell the phone. Then before a year has passed there's a new phone out and you're phone is old and ignored.
I don't want an iPhone, though so I might switch from Samsung to Nexus.
I've had Motorola, HTC, LG & Samsung phones and that's their order from worst to best.

I'd recommend that for sure, that's what I've done a few months back
or you could also switch to Motorola because their updates have been taking only a few days to arrive after the announcement
I just bought my lil sister the Nexus 5 and I'm a little salty that she's running on Kit Kat and I'm still on Jelly Bean and by the time I actually get Kit Kat she'll probably be a couple of days away from the newest update.
