Hey guys. I’ve just been thinking lately, and nostalgia has been with me throughout. I remember the days when Disney Channel star Miley Cyrus was everything to me. I watched every episode, bought every album and I bought two copies of Bangerz. The world loved her. I loved her. And then, you know..
Anyway, another case is Stefani Joanne Germanotta. You guys know her as Lady Gaga, or ‘a flop’. ATRL is supposed to be a place where we worship all the pop queens, and their flawless music. Not continuous hate and worrying about charts positions, even though we all still do anyway, let’s not deny it.
I’m just over it, guys. Before joining ATRL, or discovering it around the time The Truth About Love was released (I had thought this was a P!nk only forum, hence the messy username), I was so happy with pop culture. No one was a flop, there was no floppage or anything to me. But after joining here.. It’s really changed my aspect of music. It’s like you guys need your faves to succeed, and you’re forgetting that at least they have a career! They’re wealthy, known etc!
Let’s all just stop for a moment and realise that we’re all MUSIC fans. Please. Before we get consumed and start stanning for whoever is on top of the charts. Listen to music YOU like, not what the generic general public buy to act cool!
