Whats so funny if they are? It may seem funny because its not a social norm but I find it quite respectable for people to be emotional to living things besides human beings.

At first they walked out and they were like, "Are we really out? Is this actually happening?" and once they realized it was really going on, they started running and jumping for joy. A beautiful thing to see.
