"Days Are Gone" vs. "Pure Heroine"
Two solid debuts, with amazing songs, semi-catchy choruses, and depth. These are arguably the two most talked about debut albums this year. Which do you prefer?

bought both the day they came out
i listen to HAIM's more. its more upbeat. a lot of pure heroine runs into itself

Haim's was rather underwhelming, honestly. It's not a bad record at all, but it really doesn't compare to
Pure Heroine

Two excellent albums. I'm having another listen to Days are Gone now.
This is great and a few of the songs are more deserving of Grammy nominations than some of those that made it - such as Brave and Roar.
Pure Heroine wins for me, but it was a little closer than I thought it would be.
