I'm going with Rihanna.. Britney only got more attention because of it and will be more successful. Rihanna will end up selling like 10 million less than what she could've sold because she picked the wrong singles. That is a true tragedy.

Rihanna is smart to choose Hate That I Love You because it's already charting, and it wasn't even released yet.
Shut Up And Drive is doing pretty well.
And Britney's performance was the worst performance of VMA history.
