Well, it's weird for me because although my family is ethnically Jamaican, we were all born in England (except for my father). So we act more British than West Indian in that sense. My older sisters and parents do the u t m o s t sometimes though, not gonna lie.

Yeah I have the same thing.

Mine are Dominican but we're all British bar our Grandparents.

I was born in New York so I'm a bit more American, but my parents and grandparents are from Dominican Republic. I used to get hit with a belt all the time when I was younger;sometimes even with broom sticks or flip flops, or anything at first sight. My cousin once got punished and had to kneel on rice without pants on,for like an hour() My aunt is super loud and bossy and would literally walk around half naked in her house with a visitor there. The food is the BOMB.
Caribbeans are bats**t crazy but they have big hearts. We have big families and we're very close with our cousins,aunts and uncles, not just our immediate family; and I think they are the most devoted and believing of God.
