YES! I just watched it on Netflix the other day!!! I talked to my friend on the phone that day and ended up going on a 15 minute rant to him about how terrible Sea World is and how they lie to people and how we should free all the whales.

It's a great documentary though. I actually was bored at work like 2 months ago and was reading about the orca that killed 3 people on wikipedia (it was one of those days where I started off searching something random like "do dolphins actually rape people?" and ended up there...) and I was wondering why the whale is STILL performing at seaworld...

I see seaworld in a terrible light now... And you could argue that the documentary is one sided, but what other side IS there tbh? That whale killed 3 people and seaworld STILL have it performing, and they refused to comment at all for the documentary. They clearly have nothing good to defend themselves with except they want the money the whales bring in.

I went to Seaoworld with my parents as a kid, I remember it, but idk where I went because I'm from Ohio and there's no locations anywhere near me. I don't remember going all the way to Florida or anything...

wait nvm there used to be one in Ohio I guess but it closed in 2001...

I wanted to see it after watching the trailer for it around the time o fit's release. I added it to my queue thing on Netflix once I saw it there, hopefully I can watch it soon

I was seriously disturbed watching footage of the trainers dying/nearly dying/about to die. I mean. Bloody hell.

I didn't think there were so many incidents. They did well at keeping it quiet. I also never really thought about how they got the whales into Seaworld, but the reality was so wrong. The mothers who got caught in nets because they wouldn't leave the taken babies, drowning, getting cut open and sunk to the ocean floor with stones.

Since watching it for the first time a month ago, I've made all of my friends and family watch it. While not a perfect film, it still deserves to be seen and to get the message out about how horrible Seaworld is.

Yep. Completely changed my view on Sea World, **** will definitely be closed down in the next 50 years.
