I don't know. Maybe because it's kind of radio-friendly, but it's not the most radio-friendly song so it might not smash on US radio. Probably a moderate hit just from Gaga's name though.
I don't think it will perform well mostly from lack of radio support.
Radios have been good to Gaga with Applause and Do What U Want, so who knows, they MIGHT give it a chance.
It could get #1 or go down in flames. There really is not medium with such an "experimental" song like this, however, Applause worked on US radio so why not Venus?
Yes, it will work and it will slay. The verses/bridge are insanely weird but catchy as hell while the prechorus/chorus are perfection in song form. Venus is coming, rocket #9 is poised for take off. Prepare yourselves while there is still time. Goddess of Love will take no prisoners.
