Hey everybody! I have decided to start posting on ATRL again. And since I have started that, I might aswell start my countdown again! But there are a few new & edited rules, so here are the rules:
1. You will vote your 5 favorite songs out of a 40 song voting list.
2. The Countdown will consist of the 10 most voted songs.
3. Your votes will be calculated like this:
#1 = 5 points
#2 = 4 points
#3 = 3 points
#4 = 2 points
#5 = 1 point
4. In the case of a tie, the votes will be calculated in order of amount of votes.
E.X.: Both "What I've Done" by Linkin Park and "Icky Thump" by The White Stripes have 8 points. Although, "WID" got 3 votes, while "IT" got 2 votes. That would mean"WID" would be in front of "IT".
5. If both songs in a tie have the same amount of points and votes, then it will be settled so that the song with highest vote will be in front of the other song.
E.X.: Both "Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace and "Rockstar" by Nickelback have 8 points and 2 votes. Although, since "NTL"'s votes were 5 & 3, and "RS"'s votes were 4 & 4, "NTL" would be in front of "RS".
6. The Countdown will now be weekly, appearing every Saturday, sometime after 11:00 AM US Eastern Time.
7. Voting will start after the countdown and voting list are posted, and it will end Friday at 11:00 PM US Eastern Time.
8. The songs on this countdown will now be only singles & songs confirmed to be singles.
9. A song will retire after 15 weeks on the countdown.

E.X.: Both "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's & "First Time" by Lifehouse got the same amount of points & votes, plus they both got the same highest vote and totals at the same time. But, "HTD" got 4 points in it's first vote, while "FT" got 2 points in it's first vote. This would mean "HTD" would be in front of "FT".
