I need advice going from brown to blonde (Should this be in blogs? Idek at this point)

I used a box dye and my hair is currently a caramel-esque blonde. I want to go lighter, but look natural. My natural color is dark brown. Which color should I do? I need pics/advice etc

You are never going blonde unless you use bleach. box dyes can only do so much and lift dark brown from so much shades

Washing your hair with camomile shampoo lightens your hair a lot naturally, I use one and I have medium/dark-ish blond hair instead of dark blond hair. You can also buy some silver shampoos if you have yellowish hair. I bleached my hair once (a year ago) by just around 2 shades, but I cut it all off because I hated it. Also if you want to make it look natural you have to dye your hair quite regularly (when roots start to show), but remember not to wash your hair for a few days before you do it, your natural oils will help them maintain moisture.

Yeah, I dyed it about 2 weeks ago. I'd be getting it bleached/colored professionally. Do you think a hair stylist could give me proper advice, where to buy proper shampoos, etc? I wanted to go something like this color

Awesome, thanks! I think as my roots come in I'm going to go gradually darker and darker, the blonde seems too hard to maintain for a long time

Josh's hair is too brassy, if you want a nice shade of blonde, you need to get an ash tone (or a neutral blonde).

with your current hair color, it shouldn't be complicated to get to a lighter shade, make sure you don't end up with orange hair.

+ Purple shampoos only help when you have really light hair (like the inside of a banana), or grey hair.

+ if you're going to dye your hair ash blonde, make sure you get it done professionally, because ash dyes tend to have a greenish tone, and it looks really ugly.
