The second thing happens because the post associated with the thread (the latest update you accidently made) was deleted and so it has no idea where to send the person (since it is not smart enough to go back to the update before that one). The first thing is probably some error in realizing when you are making a comment and when you are making a post. If it is your thread, I would not recommend quoting bia the button because that usually goes into a new post and unless you make sure you click on "make new comment" or something similar, it will mess things up. I guess to fix the second thing, just make a new update so it has something to go to?
