Harlem Shake wasn't a trend, it was a hype
The biggest trend in 2013 was that funky music became more popular again (Get Lucky, Blurred Lines and Treasure as prime examples)

This year I would say the biggest music trend was Country it was everywhere Avicii came this year and all his songs where hits and now we have Timber which is slaying everywhere
