Say it isn’t so!?! RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Sharon Needles and her partner Alaska (who was a runner-up on the show) have parted ways.
The good news is the duo who were together for four years claim that they split “on good terms” and will still remain friends.
Or as Needles, real name Aaron Coady (Season 4 winner) explained, “The survival of our partnership relies on simply changing the word ‘boy’ in boyfriend to ‘best.’”
“RuPaul once said that people come into our lives for different reasons for different intervals of time,” Needles continued. “I will treasure the four years we had together.”
Added Season 5 runner-up Alaska (Justin Andrew Honard) of the situation, “I will always love Sharon and we will continue to be a part of each other’s lives.”
Nice sentiments, but we’re still sad about the whole thing.
