Some interesting controversial is a-brewing as Def Leppard are allegedly looking into legal action as a result of a new song from pop megastars One Direction sounding very similar to iconic Leppard hit, Pour Some Sugar On Me.
“Music lawyers will routinely scour hits like this one to see if there is any evidence that a band has either copied or cleverly mimicked a Def Leppard song,” a source tells The Mirror. “These cases can often take weeks to sort out because we are not talking about peanuts here – the 1D album is selling millions and if the title track goes out as a single it will generate even more money.”
I heard this immediately tbh. It's just typical of 1D's songwriters, they never give the boys original melodies Hopefully it gets settled easily though.

Right. It's just like the WMYB / Summer Lovin' song from Grease.
I posted this in the 1D base the other day, the people there can back me up. I love 1D, and I don't care the songs sound the same, but they so obviously sound the same. You can sing the choruses over one another. If they did actually sue them though, that's pretty ****.
