A mess. Did she really say that?

I might be taking this out of context, but I thought it was really reflective of her to say this. In my opinion, she's saying that she wasn't in the place she is now, years ago, and her children would have suffered. Oprah had a dark past and a lot of demons, she wasn't always this self reflective and aware person she presents herself as now. Maybe this is her way of admitting that she wouldn't have been a good parent?

Well she also said she had no connection to the child she DID have and viewed his loss as a blessing in disguise. So it was probably better that she didn't have children to raise, given her past.

I remember reading about her having an abortion when she was younger, a teenager, maybe, or it may have been a miscarriage.

Anywho, there are what 7B people on this earth? People need to quit it with pressuring women to have kids and thinking less of them when they don't. I think yesterday, there was a thread about who would you rather be, Beyonce or Oprah, and some of the comments deriding Oprah for not having kids were just . . ., as if Oprah failed at life because she has a *** but no kids.
