In response to this lack of support, the band's fans have taken it upon themselves to help promote the video. The website We're Awakening was created to try and help the single along.
Their goal is to get at least 100 people to commit to voting 100 times July 30th through August 3rd on the VH1 VSpot Top 20 Video Countdown. With a few days left, the webmaster of We're Awakening.com urges all Switchfoot fans to unite and vote in the video as a Wild Card Pick in the #1 spot.
I encourage all of you to help us out here and for the Switchfoot "Awakening" video as your Wild Card Pick at #1 as many times as you can. I mean, wouldn't you feel all good inside that a video was added to VH1 Playlist because of YOU.
