For years, one of the hottest ''feuds'' in the music world was the rift between former Mickey Mouse Club members Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. Now, however, it sounds like the two pop divas have made peace -- and a source close to Aguilera tells me it's likely the singer's pending motherhood (which she has yet to confirm) has something to do with it.
Here's what we know: Aguilera reached out to Spears, and the two reportedly have spoken on the phone, e-mailed a lot and smoothed things over. So much so that Spears is both hosting the upcoming Las Vegas opening of the LAX nightclub (in which Aguilera is a part owner) and supposedly has agreed to contribute to the proposed CD of original lullabies Aguilera is developing.
Other musical celebrity moms said to be on Aguilera's ''wish list'' of collaborators include Madonna, Celine Dion, Faith Hill and even Gwyneth Paltrow. Though the Oscar winner isn't an established singer, per se, she did croon tunes pretty admirably in ''Duets'' -- and, after all, is married to Chris Martin of Coldplay.
