Discussion: Can we turn our fave's singles into hits?

With the new BB Hot 100 formula, and now Wrecking Ball going #1 once again due to the chatroulette video going viral, is it possible to turn any of our fave's singles into hits?

Some could just create a video that has the potential to go viral and just add a single by their favorite artist in the background.
Could that turn it into a hit?

If this is the case, can i make Nicole Scherzinger's next single smash? Is there still hope for the good sis, Nicole?

A strong fanbase can do anything to make a song a hit. Whether they buy it 500k times despite little airplay, request it to every radio station, or do viral videos you can still take advantage of any part in the formula.
