Why Rihanna will be the next queen of pop...
Can you list reasons why Rihanna will be remembered as the next queen of pop?
For me one thing that really stands out is her versatility. She can successfully pull off a dance smash with hits like 'Don't Stop The Music' and 'Where Have You Been'. She can do r&b and hip-hop with songs like 'Hate That I Love You' and 'Hard'. She's the go to hook girl on rap songs and she also can deliver a beautiful ballad like 'Stay'. Her versatility is unrivaled. Other pop stars try really hard to leap genres but are always faced with backlash. Nicki got criticized for doing pop. Taylor was deemed as a sell out for her pop songs. Justin Bieber and Miley come off as try hards when they attempt to do hip-hop. So many artists try to emulate rihanna's genre hopping abilities but Rihanna's the only one who pulls it off naturally, successfully and without any back lash.
So atrl, do you agree or disagree? Serious discussion. No trolls please. also can you think of other reasons why Rihanna will be the next queen of pop?

She's not interesting enough, sorry
People only seem to talk about her songs whereas with Madonna people talk about her projects, performances, etc

Sis, you're on the wrong thread, it's not the Katy Perry Base.
They don't talk about her projects? Then what about River Island, Mac etc.
They don't care about her perfromances? Her live performances get millions of views on YT (more than most of the other pop girls) and people buy her tour tickets.

People are also interested in her fashion, and her love life. Besides she's not doing stuff for attention, she just lives her life. She has perfumes, a fashion line, she does movies, t.v.
Also Rihanna's only 25. Madonna was 25 when she first started her career.

Ehh...
She has the hits, but she never had the hmph or star power of the likes of Madonna, Britney, or Lady Gaga to be the "Queen of Pop." Maybe one day she will have it.

No. Rihanna is not creative, innovative, critically acclaimed, or a remarkable singer/thrilling performer and does nothing to push the world of music further. She's not even that big a celebrity, has little star power and virtually no memorable career moments. All Rihanna is is a product of her label and her song writers. You can't be music royalty when you're just a prop.
