Yeah for me it's pretty healthy to escape from the real world and into the stanning world a few minutes each day. I don't think it's healthy for Monsters and Beyhive though, alot of those stans take everything a little too seriously
For me, yes. Cause when my fave (Taio Cruz) is one of the most successful black artist of this time, it helps my mental well being. I know it's not healthy for the Ciara and Avril stans.
No, absolutely not. The idolatry and obsession is all just dumb and self-detrimental. You get so attached to these people you don't know, and before you can say "clocked", you're spending hours arguing with strangers over things that don't currently affect your life and you're being emotionally affected by it.
I'm dropping the title of 'stan' once I'm through with high school.
Its supposed to be fun. Some on here take it to a whole different level. Sitting up on here, writing novels and dedicating time, energy, and getting emotionally affected by hints that will never coincide with their life. Like, I'll never understand how a person can allow the performance of a song of album to affect them personally. It's beyond me.
You might put your girlfriend in a trunk and drive the car over a bridge because you did not get a letter back from your favorite artist. So I would say no.
I honestly just use the word stan as a synonym for fan because I don't think devoting so much time and energy on someone who doesn't even know you are doing this is...
I think it's not all that good for someone's mental health, and possibly physical health if it gets to that level.
