So we now knw 3 things:
- DWT is on track to match or outgross Britney s top tour: The circus.
- Loud tour crushed Britney s 2nd largest tour: FF
- Rihanna has achieved stadium status by 25yo, Britney has yet to do it
For the Britney fans who are about to bring up her residency, I don't consider a residency a tour. By definition it is the opposite of a tour. In a tour, you tour different cities...
Also, I d wait until Britney is at least 1 year into the residency because let s be honest, she has not been the most reliable performer lately. This thing could still be a disaster.
To be fair: Britney has the bigger career (so far) and is the bigger icon.
I don't know if it s me but those are all arenas and none of them were even sold out. And she did a 70% Australia.
Like I said the only stadium shows she did that I ve seen were in south america and she was closer to 50% & 60%.

Stop trying to make her look so bad.
I'm not saying Rihanna is doing bad or anything, mainly because I don't know her figures and can't compare, but Britney is clearly still a strong force.
I think she's getting bigger than Britney with each era.
Single wise, probably. Rihanna has yet to match or surpass Britney's albums sales or touring grosses, but we are not talking about that here and I am not looking to start a debate about it, I mean, I follow both artists.
By the time Britney started, touring wasn't a big deal, she has good stats with her previous tours, when she came back she grossed more than $100 million with Circus, which is great then she fell with her Femme Fatale, and she deserved it. I think Rihanna is on track to surpass Britney and be the bigger touring force between them.

Tell them.
I was only talking about tour gross, all that essay for nothing.
