Roger is possibly the greatest show sidekick next to Stewie. He's a well-developed character and is consistently hilarious.
I was reluctant to put Brian at #2 after having been read like the Ten Commandments by Quagmire. That said, he has had some good one-liners and stunts on FG.
Claus is like a lesser funny version of Roger at the expense of being more sensible.
