As we all know, Gaga has stated an overall concept for each of her four releases:
THE FAME = fame, feeling famous even if you're not
THE FAME MONSTER = the "dark side" of fame
BORN THIS WAY = self-empowerment
ARTPOP = injecting the traditional art world/artistic visuals into the pop landscape
Each of these ideas was further developed with performances, music videos, etc. (eg. upcoming performance art pieces for ARTPOP, the vessel for BTW, the Bad Romance video for TFM, etc), which imo have major impact on the overall effectiveness of each concept. But then you have to also consider the albums as standalone releases--without the extra parts of the full Gaga package, which albums most successfully execute their intended concepts/ideas?
Keep it cute
