Maybe it's stan bias but I doubt that Beyonce would feel so above auditioning that she'd refuse to audition, but expect to get the part.
She has auditioned and prepared hard for parts in the past. I'd think that if she really wanted the part she would have auditioned. Maybe if she didn't care she just thought that they would ask her, and then she could decide, but when Beyonce wants something we know for a fact that she works for it. She does not come off as the type that thinks that payoffs don't come without hard work. Not from what we've seen of her at least.
