Eminem is the latest artist to join the MTV EMAs performers bill.
The rapper made the stealth announcement Friday by sending out a YouTube link via Twitter to a new 16-second promo set to one of his new tracks, "Berzerk," off the recent release,The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
Eminem, who has 13 EMA wins (the most of any artist), joins previously announced performers Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, The Killers, Snoop Dogg and Afrojack. LMFAO's Redfoo will host the awards show.
"We like to let moments happen," Bruce Gillmer, co-executive producer of the show and executive vp talent and music programming/events at Viacom International Media Networks, told The Hollywood Reporter recently. "We have very dynamic personalities in one room who bring their own energy to the event. If you try to overproduce, the audience senses that."
