Jennifer Lawrence has hit out at Kelly Osbourne's E! panel show Fashion Police.

Fashion Police sees Osbourne, Joan Rivers, George Kotsiopoulos and Giuliana Rancic highlighting the best and worst in celebrity style each week.

Lawrence expressed her opposition to Fashion Police at a Q&A session for Yahoo, accusing the series of promoting "all the wrong values".

"The world has this idea that if you don't look like an airbrushed perfect model… You have to see past it," the actress said. "You look how you look, you have to be comfortable."

Lawrence went on to say: "What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That's just dumb.

"There are shows like Fashion Police that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on all the wrong values and that it's okay to point at people and call them ugly or fat."

Lawrence added that shows like Fashion Police offer women an "unrealistic" view of what their bodies should look like.

"They call it 'fun' and they say 'welcome to the real world' - and that shouldn't be the real world," she declared.

"It's going to continue being the real world if we keep it that way. We have to stop treating each other like that and stop calling each other fat."

The actress further explained: "There are unrealistic expectations for women, it's disappointing that the media keeps it alive and fuels that fire. It's something that really bothers me - because I love to eat."

Lawrence made headlines earlier in the week for unveiling a new pixie haircut, and later explained that she felt compelled to change her style.

No, I used to watch this show every day and they do bully people because of their body image. Xtina was basically their target during her weight gain. They kept insulting her constantly, until all of a sudden, when she lost weight, they began to praise her.

They do send a negative message and I'm happy Jennifer is speaking out.
