“When something is very special you want for it to connect with as many people as it possibly can,” said R&B artist Brandy Norwood about her latest album Two Eleven.
The album was released late last year and has since sold around 180,000 copies, and Brandy admitted she had higher hopes for the project. She is not too happy about her album sales but appreciates her fans who supported the album and appreciate it for exactly what it is—her album.
She also mentions that a new album is in the works.
Am glad she admitted that it crashed and burned ,
Hopefully the next one is sure hit
I respect when an artist can admit/acknowledge flop
so few can. I'll always check for Brandy. Loyalty since album #1. It was my childhood. I was rocking boxbraids, puffy winter coats and beanies.
The only disappointment was her team not promoting it at all.
+1
The album is free of any flaws. The promotion was ZERO and sill there was plenty of hits on it. Slower, Do You Know, Let Me Go, Paint This House, So Sick... ugh! Even an effort on Not Such Thing would push it straight to the top 5 on urban radios.
The problem with Brandy's career is Brandy. I LOVE Brandy's voice, but 2/11 was NOT good. There were a handful of songs I liked. If Brandy wants to be on top again, this is what she has to do:
1. Be confident
2. Sing live
3. Have better stage production
4. Release better singles
