I don't think there is a duet. I watched the whole interview in the link and she was just doing a warm up session singing "Blurred Lines." I'm not sure why they worded it that way.

I wish someone who actually has what it takes to be a popstar from India tried it.
Prianca is pretty but seems like an untalented air-head who can't even *pretend* to know stuff for heaven's sake.

Actually, she comes off as articulate, especially for someone who's formal education ended at 16 and speaks English as a second language. She's a good actress, but I think she has no idea about how the music industry works and she's not a real singer anyway. She was recruited by Interscope in their project to launch an Indian pop star.
I don't think she's going to happen either, but I'm not sure how a real singer from India could do better. Asians just aren't marketable in the west, but at least she has some American appeal with her looks and her westernized style, which is why Interscope probably chose her in the first place.

Working with hit producers and songwriters won't do anything for an artist if no one has actually heard your song or know you exist and, most importantly, don't care. Priyanka didn't even bother to perform "Exotic" and the few people who have learned of her through the Internet are mostly indifferent or just really resistant to her (like here on ATRL). Again, Asians have little to no appeal in the US so just servicing a song to Top 40 radio isn't going to cut it. PSY managed to get a hit because people like laughing at East Asian men. Even if Priyanka had better material than that RedOne scrap, she's unlikely to make any impact because she has no gimmick like he did and is not marketable to Americans.
