Okay so i decided to start my own blog just cos i miss having one! Um so yeah, the first topic i'm gonna talk about is my absolute favorite artist right now .... miss RIHANNA! I always loved her, ever since she came out with Pon De Replay but now she might even be challenging Jessica Simpson as my favorite artist ever and that means ALOT lol.
Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad
This cd, i think is the best cd of the year for sure. I didnt plan on downloading it cos i planned on buying the actual cd next week but i couldnt resist so i got it. At first i was a bit disappointed because the main thing i loved about Rihanna was her caribbean reggae ish flavor and that seems completely gone on this album
So by the first listen, i preferred
A Girl Like Me but after listening to it throughout it turned into her absolute best album for me, what a transformation Rihanna has made cos this is an album that will make her a superstar!
I'm shocked at how upbeat and pop the album is, especially the whole 80s vibe of it. I love how she can be so versatile <3

Shut Up & Drive has a rock sound to it, kinda like a Pink/Kelly Clarkson song but Rihanna does her thing and its my favorite song. Then there's 'Lemme Get That' which is the only song with the reggae flavor and it sounds like the perfect carnival song, i think it should be a summer single. Another song i like is SAY IT which i know alot of people dont like but i adore it to death :heart: Its so sweet and cute && i love the melody of it! Sell Me Candy & Breakin' Dishes are other hot songs, SMC should be a single cos its sooooo catchy and is kinda in the same vein as Umbrella cos of the whole pop/urban appeal. BD is pretty good, i dont love it like other people do but i love the angst of it.
