Seriously though, what is she doing? She has enough money, she could've just released Grown Woman & Standing On The Sun to iTunes and Radio while she toured and let the commercials do the promo. They could've smashed, but we'll never know now because for some reason they tried to hide the studio versions, pretty much asking for a leak.
lol@ people acting like Beyonce's not powerful enough to buy herself #1 singles if that was her ultimate goal. Every pop producer from here to Switzerland would drop what they were doing to give her their corny, generic Eurocentric poppy best created solely for the purpose of chart manipulation if that's what SHE wanted. And every pop station from here to France would take her payola dollars for spins if that's what SHE wanted. And every pop singe/rapper from Adele to Drake to probably even Rihanna would be down for a chart pandering duet if that's what SHE wanted.
Bey is arguably the most powerful woman in music...if silly little #1 singles meant that much to her, she could have them.
Single Ladies was her biggest hit and last #1 and that song topped the chart for only 4 weeks. It's so much harder to get a #1 song now than it was 6 years ago so it's unlikely for her to get another #1 again.
