Kerry Washington Triumphs, Eminem Flounders: Watch Rapper Lip Syncing on SNL

We were all looking forward to Eminem’s appearance on tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live where he would promote his upcoming album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, by performing singles off of the MMLP2, which is set to release on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Unfortunately, when Eminem took the stage, it was a bizarre performance of Berzerk that left his fans wanting more.
It was clear that Eminem was lip-syncing and he wasn’t even attempting to hide it.
The performance was just odd and didn’t do anything to get people excited — Eminem is lucky that his song is already well received.
While the performance wasn’t the best, Eminem did get social media going thanks to the appearance of Rick Rubin, who was DJing the track. Rubin was rocking his usual large beard, but he paired it with sunglasses and a parka that left him looking like the dude from Duck Dynasty.
Eminem still has one more chance to impress the fans, if he chooses to do so, so we will have to see if he actually decides to perform his next song. It’s highly unlikely, though.
Kerry Washington hosted SNL last night to much critical acclaim. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show proved that Kerry Washington "brings a spark of energy to most anything she touches."

Eminem, however, did not fare so well. As the show's musical guest, the rapper performed songs from his upcoming album, "The Marshall Mathers LP2." He performed the single "Berzerk" with famed producer Rick Rubin. Eminem returned for a second performance of "Survival" with Skyler Grey, who sang the chorus. The song was written as the soundtrack for the video game "Call of Duty: Ghosts." However, the performances have drawn criticism as some have claimed the rapper was lip syncing during the performance.Fans took to twitter to blast the Detroit rapper for what they claim was a lip synced performance.
Kerry Washington's performance, however, remains the standout. Not only was she funny and filled with energy, but the message of the show was felt by viewers.
Eminem's Questionably Lip-Synced 'SNL' Set Hauls Out Rick Rubin, Skylar Grey
Slim Shady was less "Berzerk" than Kerry Washington's "The Fox" spoof
Kerry Washington, like just about everybody else this side of Kendrick Lamar, lacks Eminem's hip-hop chops. But hosting Saturday Night Live on November 2, the star of TV drama Scandal brought more sheer, shareable entertainment value to a song-based sketch with cast member Jay Pharoah than musical guest Eminem could muster in a pair of puzzlingly uninspired performances. Rick Rubin's godlike beard still put on show enough for everybody involved.
Despite Eminem's career-long ability to stir up controversy, virtually everybody agrees on his mic-slaughtering verbal agility. As SPIN's must-read review of this week's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 puts it, "If rapping were a purely athletic competition, Eminem would be Michael Phelps and Mary Lou Retton combined: pure agility and flexibility, like an unstoppable bullet with only white-hot hate in his wake." But there's not really an athletic equivalent to the way the Detroit MC deprived himself of his greatest gift on SNL. Twitter was full of commenters pointing out it sure looked like Eminem was lip-syncing, and whether he was or not, that's the real crime: Here's the guy who wins every rap Olympic gold medal, and he couldn't even convincingly appear to be swimming.
Bosses of American satirical show Saturday Night Live were left embarrassed by Eminem last night (October 30, 2004,) when the rapper lip-synced through his two performances on the show.
A week after Ashlee Simpson's miming fiasco made headlines, Eminem failed to keep up with his own guide track as he performed politically-charged "Mosh" and new hit "Just Lose It."
This came after guest host Kate Winslet poked fun at last week's lip-syncing controversy during her opening monologue.
She said, "I'm thrilled to be hosting Saturday Night Live. I can assure you it is live because I'm hyperventilating a bit."
"I do however wish it wasn't the week after the Ashlee Simpson incident because now I really do have to perform live."
Winslet then showed off her tap-dancing and singing skills - to prove that the show was completely live.

if you can't hear his voice and the track sound you completely death or just pure retarted you can clearly hear his voice when he says "shout out to kendrick" and during the whole performance you can tell the difference is that or eminem is just that good live he is the best live performing artist in the whole world but yea he's not lip syncing
