I didn't know how to title this thread but hear me out lambs.
Does anyone feel as though Mariah's lead singles put off the general public to the rest of her album content? I feel as though Mariah (since TEOM) has done lead singles that sound "younger" and more pop based, which have moderate success but I'm wondering if she had chosen different lead singles for E=MC2 and MOAIA would she have had massive success or comparable success to TEOM?
Not with the material she released since TEOM. She is definitely capable of still getting #1s and hopefully she can again, but sadly her name alone isn't enough to win people over. She needs the right material.
And the right material will be served in just a week.
