There will be no third season of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Lifetime series The Client List. I hear it was a mutual decision between the network and producer Sony Pictures TV. While the show dropped in Season 2 — from 2.7 million for the premiere to 2 million for the finale, I hear the reasons were mainly talent-related. As we reported in the summer, Lifetime and Sony TV were in a standoff with star Hewitt over storylines for a potential third season.

From what I've read, JLH kept holding out on the show, and apparently some cast members weren't able to do other offers for shows because of their contracts and not knowing the status of the show. So basically other cast members spent all this time doing nothing and not being able to work because of her.

When Ghost Whisperer was on the air, I was in a scene she was in. A total bitch and people walked on eggshells around her. David Conrad was genuinely a nice guy though.

Seems like she threatened to leave the show if writers didn't give a major role to her real-life Fiancèe Who is a regular on the show (and plays her ex husband )....apparently they didn't find an agreement ahah ....it's known that on the show her brother in law(played by Colin Egglesfield) has a major role in the storyline

I've never watched the show-only the movie but that sucks. It seems like the show didnt get a proper ending. With a baby on the way J Love better take all the work she can get.

She's a bitch? That's... that's just too hard for me to believe at this point without more proof or testimonies. She's so likeable in everything I've ever seen her in and in every interview I've ever seen her in. I've never taken Jennifer Love Hewitt as being "the bitch." I hope that's not true. Last thing she needs is to develop a terrible reputation like Katherine Heigl, which effectively ended her career, that's why she's doing NyQuil commercials now. J-Love is far too hot and I like her way too much for that to happen to her.

So it's her fault that she was the big name of the show? She loved being apart of the show and she wasn't just an actress, she was there also as a producer so she has a "saying" in the process. Jennifer is pregnant and the show was on hiatus so I highly doubt that has anything to do with her. The rumors of her wanting her fiance in more are accurate. He had a bigger role in. At least in those last episodes.

I think it's easy to judge. Jennifer is a great person and very lovely. She is so caring about people, I highly doubt your "opinion" is accurate even though I've heard people complaining about her diva attitude. I think she is a total sweetheart, she used to show that on Twitter. She has her insecurities so maybe she just doesn't let her walls down with everyone. I am sure that is just the impression you got from her.

I am devasted the show got cancelled. I can't believe those last scenes won't have an ending, so frustrating. And rates weren't that bad AT ALL considering all Lifetime shows.
