All of my family (including cousins, grandparents, aunts etc) are at least one of homophobic, racist, or transphobic.
It's pretty sad that I'm the only one who isn't any of those.
Edit: My mom isn't really any, but she's not accepting either especially when it comes to gender roles. She says that if a man puts on eyeliner or something, he's ''asking'' to get bullied . She says she's accepting of transgenders but for that I consider her transphobic
My dad is pretty ignorant. He has this knowledge that all gay men will end up identifying as a woman at some point in their lives. He's also believes every stereotypes about Black and Asian people.

No. I'm not like a terrible human who wishes for genocide or something. I can be quite rude about certain things though and I've never seen that from my mom or dad so.. I guess that makes me the worse.
They aren't homophobic at all thank god. They're not outright racist against anybody (one of my dad's best friends from high school is Indian) but they like racial stereotype humor a little bit too much for my liking if you get what I'm saying. And my mom does this annoying thing where she thinks all spanish speaking people are from mexico, and all asian people are chinese
They tend to identify individuals by their race/ ethnicity (ie: "the black woman at the office" or "have you seen your Chinese friend lately?"). Dad's probably homophobic; gay things don't come up very often, but I kinda get that sense from him when they do. At the very least, he seems uncomfortable with it.
I'd say that they use labels that have some sort of stigma or meaning applied to them... They're not directly saying prejudicial things, but they use labels that imply prejudice. If that makes sense.
My family is from rural areas of Uruguay and most of them are quiTe homophobic... I wouldn't say racist cuz I've never heard harsh comments or gestures or even jokes about different ethnics and races. I came out this year, by may... my dad passed away last year but he wouldn't have accepted it cuz he always wanted me to be a "man" and corrected me everytime he saw a "girly" or "not for boys" behaviour. My mother is the most tolerant person in my family and she supports me. My sister lacks a brain to even care bout it.
