Very sexist and doesn't make sense at all. Tequila & vodka are popular amongst women as well, so what you said definitely doesn't make any sense. I'll never understand why people's preferences bother others when it doesn't affect them.
Definitely beer. Gets me contently buzzed but never too sloshed, and never gives me headaches or hangovers.
I had a pretty bad experience the first time I got wasted off of (white) wine, it turned into like a 3-day hangover, threw up more than a human being should be able to, got nauseous whenever I stood up and couldn't keep anything down. It was definitely my fault since I had eaten much of anything that entire day, and I drank way too much way too fast. But since then I've stayed far away from wine and even thinking about it grosses me out.
I've never really liked hard liquor either, I'm okay with taking shots now and then, but I've never had a mixed drink I've liked. The most tolerable one I've tried is Fireball Whiskey & Coke.
