Ideally, yeah, but as long as there is politics and, to some extent, religion, all people will not be equal. We can try to spread as much love as possible and stay against discriminating other people (which is what we SHOULD do, absolutely), but our society does not in any way promote equality.
Morals go down the drain when power and money are involved.
How could you even think this was a good idea?
