Jessie J has announced the title of her new single.

The singer will release 'Thunder' as the third single to be lifted from her recent album Alive.

"[It was] the last song we wrote for the album," Jessie J recently told Digital Spy about 'Thunder'.

"It got sent over by Stargate and Benny Blanco, and Claude [Kelly] and myself were like, 'Thunder, thunder, thunder'.

"We just started writing and had it finished in about half an hour before I went to the airport to fly home from New York."

'Thunder' serves as the follow-up to Jessie J's previous Top 5 hits 'Wild' and 'It's My Party'.

The star kicked off her first UK headline arena tour earlier this week in Belfast.

The best song on the average 'Alive' .. I need 'Gold' to follow early next year, and then premiere a brand new single in April and repackage the album in July 2014, then release her third album July 2015.
